Deric Kramer Racing | About Deric
Deric David Kramer was born June 10, 1985 in Sterling, Colorado. He is a graduate of Sterling High School and DeVry University. He currently resides in Parker, Colorado. Deric has four sisters, Danielle Kramer, Christie Albers, Daria Kramer, Kelly Albers. His parents are Cheri Albers and David & Patricia Kramer.
When Deric is not racing the American Ethanol Dodge Dart, he spends his spare time practicing and participating in SCA Fencing events around the country. SCA Fencing is a style of historical fencing practiced in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). The primary focus is to study, replicate and compete with styles of rapier sword-fighting found in Europe during the Renaissance period, using blunted steel swords and a variety of off-hand defensive items.
Deric was only a few months old when he first was placed in his Dad's racecar. He spent many nights helping his Dad work on the car from a very young age. On his 8th birthday, he received his first junior dragster and was very successful winning many events/trophies. After completing his college degree in Electronics Engineering, he entered into the Comp Eliminator Class with a American Ethanol Dragster setting the National record for this class in 2010. Deric started racing Pro Stock in July of 2013. His Crew Chief is Mike Hiner and other crew members include Dave Kramer, Duane Radcliff and Lynn Gilbert.
